Our religious institute has been certified by Praesidium for the work we do, and the efforts we have made, to provide safe environments in all our houses and ministries. All of our current membership have undergone Praesidium training and have been periodically updated, as well.   

We see this as an integral part of preaching the Word of Christ and his Gospel message of peace and healing:  all people need to experience the compassionate Christ.  As missionaries, we feel that our founder would be one of the first to go toward those who have been victimized and to extend a supportive hand, a loving embrace and prayer with the Crucified One who now is calling out for help.

Yet, as an apostolic religious congregation in the Roman Catholic Church we also need to be honest, open and transparent with our own policy for maintaining ethical conduct in ministry.  The document you can read (or download) sets out the steps and practice for the Montfort Missionaries should a member violate the trust placed in him.
